А meeting of the Board of Directors of the NGO “Bible Translators of Ukraine”

🧡 On April 2, a meeting of the Board of Directors of the NGO “Bible Translators of Ukraine” took place. The participants were Stanislav Shynkariov, Stanislav Cherniayev, Roman Vecherkivskyj, as well as Vasyl Khudiak and Ivan Ovcharenko, who joined online. In addition, Olga Sergeeva and Ivan Slobodian, employees of the organization, as well as guests Andriy Somov, Gennadiy Nebeskul, David Maksymovich, and Met Honing, director of the Roma project, joined the meeting.

🧡 Roman Diachuk, director of the NGO “PBU,” opened the meeting. He reported on the work that had been done over the previous year. In addition, plans for the future were discussed and further work was planned. Employees also discussed cooperation with various missions for the more effective work of our organization.

🧡 The good news was that new recruits who are ready to learn and work in God’s field want to join the NGO “PBU.” In addition, Matt Honing said that the PBT mission plans to expand its activities and start a new ministry for deaf people in Ukraine. We hope that this project will be launched this year.

🧡It is worth noting that Roman Diachuk presented new printed books: “Is the Great Commission Still Great?” and “Who Is He?” The staff also discussed printing Bibles in the Romani language and plans to translate a children’s Bible.

🧡We thank God for a fruitful year and for people who are willing to serve.

Discovery missionary conference

🧡On April 3-4, near Boryslav in the Lviv region, another Discovery missionary conference was held, organized by the Bible Translators of Ukraine NGO and the Mission and New Churches Department of the Ukrainian Baptist Theological Seminary. Students from the same educational institution joined the participants.

🤍It was a special time, as it contributed to spiritual growth and understanding of one’s calling in Christ’s mission.

🧡The speakers were Roman Dіachuk, Ivan Slobodіan, Stanislav Shynkariov, Andriy Somov, Stanislav Cherniaev, Roman Vecherkivskyj, Gennadiy Nebeskul, Zolushka, and Dmytro Vakarenko, who explored topics related to missionary work in greater depth, spoke about the main goals of the NGO “Bible Translators of Ukraine,” and encouraged participants to become part of our team.

🤍Conference participants took part in a joint prayer for missionaries, recruits, and the Roma people, and had time for worship, fellowship, and brotherhood. The conference became an impetus for action, a deeper awareness of God’s calling, and a readiness to serve where the light of the Gospel is most needed.

🧡Our organization has a special mission—that every people and every language group may hear God’s Word in their own language. Over the years of our ministry, we have seen how Bible translation changes lives, opens hearts, and gives hope to those who previously had no access to God’s truth, so we continue to seek and train new missionaries who are ready to fulfill Christ’s commission.

Roman Dіachuk visits Christian educational institutions

🧡 At the beginning of March, our leader, Roman Dіachuk, visited the Ukrainian Evangelical Theological Seminary, where he met with the staff of the academic office, as well as the Kyiv Theological Seminary.

🧡 During the meeting, Roman had the opportunity to talk to students of different faculties, telling them about the activities of the PBU NGO. An important part of the visit was conversations with the dean and teachers of the Faculty of Theology and the Faculty of Church Planting.

🧡 The PBU NGO is always open to cooperation and seeks to establish partnerships with educational institutions, because we are convinced that the best missionaries are well-trained graduates.

🧡 We are glad to be able to invite graduates to join our team, where they can develop as recruits or missionaries of our organization.

🧡 We look forward to fruitful cooperation with the UETS and KTS!

THE FIRST COLORING PAGES ARE ALREADY IN COLOR

On December 22, 2024, the team of the NGO Bible Translators of Ukraine visited churches in the village of Serednie and a Roma camp in Uzhhorod.

About 400 children received a Christmas gift: a coloring book with the story “The Holy Help” and colored pencils.

In addition, the children had the opportunity to listen to an interesting Christmas story and play games with elementary school teacher Lilia Kalyn, who gladly volunteered to serve on this trip. She worked not only with children but also with parents, explaining to them the importance of spending time with their children and educating them.

We thank everyone who contributed to this project, because the children really received a lot of positive emotions and benefits.

This project will continue to be implemented in 2025, and children send us photos of coloring books.

Trip to the village of Kyselіv

On February 16th, employees of the NGO “Bible Translators of Ukraine” visited a church in the village of Kyseliv, Chernivtsi region. The main goal was to attract new employees and partners for the further development of our ministry.

We shared our history, completed work, project management, and plans for the future.

Thank you for your hospitality! We believe that only by uniting with churches can we achieve results and fulfill everything that Christ commanded.

We continue to seek prayer and financial partners, as well as new missionaries.

If you want to join this mission, please write to us, and we will gladly visit your church to tell you more about our work and needs.
