Translation of the books of the Old Testament: Genesis, Ruth, and Jonah

🟠For many years now, the NGO “Bible Translators of Ukraine” has been translating God’s Word into different dialects of the Roma language.

⚪️With God’s help, the world has already seen several editions for both adults and children.

🟠Today we want to share with you our great joy: a translation of the Old Testament books (Genesis, Ruth, and Jonah) has been published.

⚪️We work every day so that the Bible in the language of the heart can make a difference in people’s lives.

🟠We ask for your prayers for the next translations and works so that as many people as possible can hear the Good News.

⚪️Glory to the Lord for all the blessings!

Regional youth event in Chernivtsi region

🔸On June 2, a regional youth event was held in the village of Boyany in the Chernivtsi region. More than a hundred young people gathered there to socialize, relax, and meditate on the Word of God.

🔸The event was attended by Roman Diachuk and Stanislav Cherniaiev, who encouraged young people to participate in missionary work, to learn how to do it and to be members of the NGO “Bible Translators of Ukraine”.

🔸It was a great encouragement for the listeners that despite the difficult circumstances in the country, we continue to work with unreached peoples and on Bible translation.

🔸We invite you to join this mission. You can serve in prayer, financially, or as a member of a team working in the mission field.

Session in the village of Poroshkovo

🔸From May 20 to 26, a regular session for students of the School of Evangelists’ Disciples, a program of Kremenchuk Evangelical Seminary, was held in the village of Poroshkovo, Zakarpattia region.

🔸During these days, 10 students actively studied and took the course “KAIROS”, which was taught by Roman Diachuk and Stanislav Cherniaiev.

🔸This course reveals God’s commands about mission in the Old and New Testaments, as well as how God’s Word was spread during the time of Jesus Christ and after His ascension. Of course, during the course, the teachers also mentioned how Christianity became a world religion and its history from the beginning of the new era to the present day.

🔸An important part of the training was the statistical part, where they discussed what the modern Church should do to reach the whole world and all peoples with the Good News of Jesus and His salvation.

🔸In addition, the KAIROS course motivates cross-cultural evangelism and helps students to define their personal role in the mission.

🔸We would like to emphasize that this course can also be conducted in churches, as there are all the necessary various plans and materials for this. For example, a whole week or a few weekends, or once a week for 2 months.

🔸KAIROS is not only about theory, but also about practice. After the training, students explored an extremely interesting phenomenon: life in one village of Vlachs, Roma and Ukrainians. Students visited the population, communicated with them, and most importantly, preached Christ to them. Fortunately, with God’s blessing the people welcomed the students and told them about their culture, traditions, and sayings. This experience was very valuable and necessary for young evangelists who will be missionaries and leaders in their churches in the future.

🔸We pray that God will bless these students and that He will send new workers to His fields. We also encourage you to ask the Lord for more young people to dedicate their lives to Him and become ministers in Ukraine and abroad.

🔸If you have a desire and feel called to join the ministry of the mission “Bible Translators of Ukraine”, we invite you to have an interview to determine your role in the global mission. The Lord is working especially in this end time, so the church needs to make a leap to fulfill God’s plan and reach all nations to the ends of the earth.

Evangelism in the village of Verkhovtseve

🔸The leader of the Roma project of the NGO Bible Translators of Ukraine, Ivan Slobodian, visited the Dnipro region. There he met with Leonid Ogle, who works with a group of young ministers in that area.

🔸Together they went to the village of Verkhovtseve, where there is a church that local Roma are beginning to attend. An evangelistic service dedicated to the resurrection of Jesus Christ was held there.

🔸Approximately 120 people attended this service, which is a great blessing from God. God touched many hearts, a large number of people confessed their faults to Him and repented of their sins. The service included sermons, singing, skits, poems, and even children participated.

🔸After the service, the brothers made an effort to prepare a lunch, during which people had the opportunity to communicate with each other.

🔸We thank everyone for their prayers and support. The trip was truly blessed. We are sincerely glad that our ministry is bearing fruit and people continue to turn to the Lord.

NGO “PBU” celebrates its first decade

🎉WE ARE 10 YEARS OLD 🎉!

😊The history of the mission “Bible Translators of Ukraine”, which later became a public organization, began in April 2014.

😊All these years, our mission has been a bridge between the church and the peoples who do not have the opportunity to read the Bible in their own language. All our employees and partners have done everything possible to keep the Bible translation alive and working, to change individuals from within and to transform society as a whole.

😊A lot has been done during this time: translating several books of the New and Old Testament into several dialects, training missionaries, creating the RomaBible mobile application, holding various conferences, printing calendars, distributing wooden panels with the Lord’s Prayer, evangelistic projects, humanitarian aid, and much more. The work is carried out daily.

😊 We thank God and all the people who have been involved in this work over the years. We ask God’s blessing for further work, because there is still much to do.

😊If you want to join the work of PBU, please contact Direct.

😊 Remember that the word of God in the language of the heart can change the lives of many.
