Dmytro Baurda continues to travel throughout Ukraine

✨ Dmytro Baurda continues to travel throughout Ukraine, sharing his expertise and insights regarding the “PBU” (Bible Translators of Ukraine) and the broader missionary calling.

📍 Busk | December 23–26

A seminar titled “World Religions” was held for the student community, organically blending academic study, deep reflection, and the festive spirit of the Christmas season. Over several days, students explored the three Abrahamic religions—Christianity, Islam, and Judaism. Set against the backdrop of the holidays, the learning sessions flew by, leaving the participants with many significant discoveries.

✨ During the same week in the Lviv region, Dmytro introduced students of the “Siy Slovo” (Sow the Word) missionary school to the organization’s current projects. He extended an invitation for them to join the vital mission of translating the Holy Scriptures for people groups who still do not have the Word in their native languages.

‼️ For the first time within the “Siy Slovo” community, in partnership with “Bible Translators of Ukraine,” a brand-new subject was announced: “Theology of Place.”

This course offers a fresh and unique biblical perspective on the spaces that surround us. It explores the incredible Incarnation of Christ within a specific city and a specific cultural context, challenging students to see their surroundings through a missional lens.

🙏 We thank God for this blessed time of learning, fellowship, and open hearts.

A working consultation dedicated to the translation of the General Epistles of the New Testament

💫 Last week, we held a working consultation dedicated to the translation of the General Epistles of the New Testament.

💫Over the past year, teams from the “PBU” have been working on the translations of Philemon, Jude, James, 1–2 Peter, and 1–3 John.                                                                                                                                          💫During our meeting, we:

Reviewed the results of this extensive work.

Verified the consistency of key biblical terms.

Standardized the structural formatting (introductions, addresses, greetings, and closings regarding peace, love, and grace).

Gave special attention to complex passages, particularly within the Epistles of Peter.

💫 A significant portion of the consultation focused on our future roadmap. Our next three-year cycle will shift focus toward the Old Testament. Following the completed translation of Genesis, our upcoming work will include:

Exodus, Numbers, Deuteronomy, and Joshua (either full books or key chapters).

Strategic Goal for 2028: Commencing work on the Book of Revelation.

💫 The consultation included representatives from the Crimean and Vlah teams, with a dedicated session for the Lovari team scheduled soon. Simultaneously, other teams are finalizing the Gospel of Mark and the Book of Acts. This year, we also plan a comparative translation of the Book of Jonah into several dialects in Moldova to determine the best direction for future collaboration.

💫 We are especially joyful to host a family from the USA currently completing their studies in theology and linguistics. God willing, they will join our projects starting in 2027. They are currently spending time in Zakarpattia, getting to know our teams, the translation process, and local Roma church leaders.

💫 We thank God for the unity and the shared calling in the vital task of translating the Holy Scriptures.

Dmytro Baurda continues to challenge churches to engage in missionary service

✨ This Sunday, a call to mission echoed in Chernivtsi. Dmytro Baurda continues to challenge churches to engage in missionary service.

✨The community of the “Voice of Truth” (Holos Istyny) church, together with Pastor Ivan Ravliuk, heard the urgent plea: to reach nations that do not yet have the Holy Scriptures in their native language. Not only did they hear the message, but they responded with great joy.

✨There are still so many people who remain without a Bible in their own tongue. May this church’s decision mark the beginning of a great journey.

✨Let us pray that God opens doors, guides their path, and blesses every step they take.

Leonid Oglo, a pastor from Dnipro, shares a beautiful blessing

✨ Leonid Oglo, a pastor from Dnipro, shares a beautiful blessing and the joy of a recent children’s evangelism outreach:

✨ God opens doors where they were once closed.

✨For a long time, we prayed for the opportunity to hold a Christmas outreach for Roma children in a local school—and this year, the Lord blessed us with that very chance.

✨Thanks to the support and Christmas gifts we received, we were able to enter the school, share the true meaning of Christmas with the children, and bring them joy through 🎁.

✨A particularly moving moment occurred when an air raid siren forced the children into the shelter. With tears in their eyes, the teachers thanked us for the gifts, while the children were so captivated by unboxing them that they didn’t even notice the alarm. Joy and hope triumphed over fear.

✨There was a time when we were denied entry to this school. Today, we are being invited back with open arms—the school is already planning to gather all the classes next year so we can return with a Christmas play and the Gospel message.

✨We sincerely thank everyone who supports the ministry to the Roma people.                                                                                     Your prayers, donations, and love are bearing fruit and transforming hearts.

A week of learning, prayer, and ministry development in Krakiw!

📌From October 2 to 7, a course entitled “Church Planting in a Cross-Cultural Context” was held in Krakiw, based on the book “ Apostolic Church Planting,” translated by our team. Eight students participated in the course, exploring biblical principles for establishing new communities among different peoples together with instructor Anthony Parker.

📚 In addition, on October 6-7, Anthony Parker taught a course entitled “An Overview of the Book of Acts.”

🙏 On October 4, we visited the Word of Life Church in Krakiw, where we had the opportunity to talk about the ministry of the Bible Translators of Ukraine NGO, and we also participated in a conference organized by Jan Barchuk and the Bible Translators of Poland office.

🧡It was a special time of unity—we prayed for each other, shared experiences, planned future trips for recruits to Asia, and talked about new ways to translate the Bible.

🌍 We are grateful to God for this time of learning, fellowship, and inspiration!

Together — so that every nation may hear the Word of God in their own language.
