WHO WE ARE AND WHAT WE DO
The organization Bible Translators of Ukraine is a bridge between the church and the people who do not have a Bible. Our team consists of Bible translators, evangelists, literacy teachers, church planters, and other professionals. We all work to see people’s lives transformed by the Word of God in every nation.
We are looking for new missionaries who are ready to respond to the needs of peoples who do not have a Bible.

Our confession of faith
We accept the Bible as the Word of God. We are consider The Bible as our authority in matters of religion and as the basis of all our faith and practice. The true knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ comes to us through the Word of God.
Everything that the PBU mission is working on is done under under the sovereign dominion of Christand with the intention of making Him Savior and Lord of the whole world.
The nature of the church, as the people of God, is defined by the Holy Spirit, whose presence in it gives the church life and power.
In order to receive this gift of grace, God calls everyone to faith in Christ, repentance of sin, confession of Jesus as Lord, and on this basis immersion in Christ through holy water baptism.
The mission of the church - to bring the message of salvation through Christ to all mankind and to call them to obey Him as Savior and Lord.
We confess that Ісус Христос створив церкву, і що вона створена для всіх, хто кориться Євангелії і належить Ісусу Христу, Главі церкви.
"Bible Translators of Ukraine" accept Jesus Christ, as Savior and Lord. He is the only begotten Son of God who died on the cross for the salvation of all mankind. We believe in one sovereign God, the Creator, infinite, perfect, and existing from all eternity in three Persons: The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

STRATEGIES AND METHODS
FOUR BASIC STRATEGIES FOR BIBLE TRANSLATORS.
Mobilizing God’s people
– By praying to the Lord of the harvest;
– Calling God’s people everywhere to pray, give and volunteer in our ministry;
-By preparing and sending missionaries;
-Engaging people who do not have a Bible in partnership.
Provide ongoing access to God’s Word
– By identifying needs through research;
– By translating the Scriptures;
– Developing necessary literacy programs;
– Through oral, visual, and written materials necessary for church planting and discipleship.
Instructing those who do not have a Bible according to Scripture
– By living in ways that glorify God and exemplify the impact of the Bible on our lives, including personal evangelism and compassion;
– By working with existing churches to lead them to more actively use Scripture in their own language;
– Planting and strengthening churches to increase the use of translated Scripture;
– Promoting the use of local art and music to increase the impact of Scripture;
– Serving through community development and social and spiritual outreach.

HISTORY OF CREATION
God inspired Al Hamilton in the mid-1970s with a desire and vision to mobilize more of God’s people to the task of translating Scripture into every language. He and other members of Christian churches began recruiting missionaries for the Church Growth Movement to translate the Bible. They decided to form a mission that would work in close cooperation with the Wycliffe mission. But this new mission was to mobilize churches and send missionaries who would use Bible translation and literacy as a strategy for church planting. Based on this vision, the Bible Translators mission was born in 1976.
The ministry of Bible Translators of Ukraine was launched in April 2014. During this time, we launched a project in Ukraine to work with the Roma (Gypsy) people. According to unofficial data, in 2001 there were about 100,000 Gypsies in Ukraine. These are 15 ethnic groups, most of whom do not have access to the Scriptures in a language they understand.
Our staff is working on translating the Holy Scriptures into six Roma dialects.
Currently, the books of Luke, John, Acts, Genesis, Ruth, and Jonah have been printed. For children, My First Bible and The Life of Jesus Christ in Pictures have been printed. Work is continuing on the translation of several books from the Old and New Testaments and other literature.
In addition, in cooperation with churches and other organizations, we are implementing humanitarian, medical, and educational projects for Roma and Ukrainians.
Today, the mission of Bible Translators of Ukraine is to serve as a bridge between the Church and peoples who do not have the Bible, translating the Word of God into the language of the heart of unreached peoples in order to transform their lives and grow thriving churches.
