Meeting of the Board of Trustees of Bible Translators of Ukraine in Kosiv

💫From February 12 to 14, a meeting of the Board of Trustees of Bible Translators of Ukraine took place in the picturesque town of Kosiv.

🙏🏻It was a special time of unity, fellowship, and strategic planning. The brothers came with their families not only to discuss the further development of the ministry but also to spend a blessed time among like-minded people in the beauty of the Carpathian Mountains.

🔹 The meeting was attended by:

• Roman Vecherkiskyj — Deputy Chairman of the All-Ukrainian Council of Evangelical Christian Baptists

• Vasyl Khudiak — Chairman of the Association of Evangelical Christian Baptists in Ivano-Frankivsk Region

• Ivan Ovcharenko — Rector of Kremenchuk Seminary

• Stanislav Shynkariov — Director of the Ternopil Missionary School

• Stanislav Cherniaev — Head of the Missionary Faculty

• Roman Diachuk — Director of the PBU

🖌During the meeting, participants discussed the development of the mission, future translation projects, and shared their vision for the future of the ministry.

✨ A special joy was the release of a new children’s Bible in the Romani language — the fruit of great, selfless labor that inspires us to move forward and opens up new opportunities for ministry.

🙏 Please support in prayer the work among the Romani people, as well as the preparation and sending of missionaries to other countries.

Evangelism for Roma in Nadvirna

✨On February 19, part of the PBU team visited Roma in the city of Nadvirna and invited them to the House of Prayer, where evangelism took place.

💫The time was spent effectively and blessedly, and at the end, the children received gifts and their parents received food. This winter has been a difficult time for these families, as they live in tents on the street. Severe frosts and prolonged snowfall have added to their already difficult lives.

🙏🏻However, people were happy to hear the Word of God again and to communicate. In addition, the children received their first Children’s Bible in the Transcarpathian dialect, which has a parallel Ukrainian text. However, not all of them can read yet, so Sunday school teachers are beginning to teach them.

A prayer retreat

🙏🏻From February 19 to 21, a prayer retreat was held in Chortkiv, bringing together nearly 30 brothers from various towns in the Ivano-Frankivsk region.

🗣The meeting was organized by the NGO “Bible Translators of Ukraine” and the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Association of Churches of the Evangelical Christian Baptists.

🧎Ministers from Ivano-Frankivsk, Kalush, Sniatyn, as well as from the villages of Hannusivka, Pidhaichyky, and other communities in the region participated.

📖 During the retreat, the brothers studied the Epistle to the Romans together, reflected on the themes of the Good News, and especially on prayer. About 50% of the time was devoted to communal prayer.

📚The ministers shared the God’s Word, sang a lot, had sincere brotherly fellowship, and personal conversations. It was a special time of renewal, encouragement, and spiritual strengthening.

🙏 Most importantly, they asked the Lord to send workers into His harvest. After all, God’s field is not only Ukraine or Ivano-Frankivsk region, but the whole world.

🎁Each participant received a copy of Steve Richardson’s book “Is the Great Commission Still Great?” as a gift, which reminds us once again of the Church’s responsibility to bring the Gospel to unreached peoples.

✨We pray. We preach. We remember those who have not yet heard the God’s Word. May the Lord continue to lead and use each of us for His glory.

A special Christmas service was held for the Roma community in the village of Yurivka

✨ On January 24, 2026, a special Christmas service was held for the Roma community in the village of Yurivka. The gathering took place in the home of a local Roma family, bringing people together for a time of fellowship, shared prayer, and the proclamation of the Good News. The majority of those in attendance were Crimean Roma.

🎁 During the service, children were presented with Christmas gifts and Children’s Bibles translated into their specific Romani dialect. Adults received calendars and copies of the Gospel in their native tongue. While the children overflowed with joy, the adults expressed deep gratitude for the care shown to them and the precious opportunity to read God’s Word in the language of their hearts.

🙏 The service reached a powerful conclusion as everyone present—including the children—joined together in a prayer of repentance, surrendering their hearts to the Lord. The atmosphere was one of profound joy, unity, and the evident presence of God.

🤍 We extend our special thanks to the brothers and sisters dedicated to translating the Gospel into the Romani language, specifically the Crimean dialect, and for their tireless work on Bibles, calendars, and other ministry materials. We also thank everyone who supports this mission through their finances and prayers.

May the Lord abundantly bless everyone who takes part in this labor of love and reward your sacrifice and service a hundredfold.

The church in Kryvyi Rih has received the long-awaited 2026 calendars

We Are Joyfully Sharing Good News! 🤍                                                                                                                           ✨The church in Kryvyi Rih, where Pastor Stanislav Pavlinkov serves, has received the long-awaited 2026 calendars. What makes these calendars truly special is that they are published in the Romani language.

✨ With God’s help, we reached a significant milestone this year: we successfully released calendars in all the Romani dialects spoken across Ukraine.

✨ This is a profound blessing. People can now receive a gift in their native tongue—a calendar that will offer comfort, inspiration, and the truths of God’s Word throughout the entire year.

✨ We are deeply grateful to God for this opportunity and to everyone who contributed to making this project a reality.
