Testimony about the “Holy Help” Project

We are glad that with God’s help, our work is bearing good fruit. We have wonderful testimonies from a minister in Dnipro.

“In Dnipro, there is a Roma church where, before the war, many people gathered, barely fitting into the hall. Now, there are significantly fewer, but we continue to serve them. Praise the Lord that Roma people come to hear the Word of God even in such difficult times.

We especially thank the brothers and sisters who translate the Bible into the Roma people’s native language. This year, we received many calendars and coloring books for children, “Holy Help,” which were distributed during the Christmas holidays. People gratefully accepted literature in their native language, and children enthusiastically colored their stories at home and in Sunday school.

In addition, we regularly visit Roma families and give them calendars. God touches these people, and they accept the gifts with grateful hearts. It is a great blessing for them to read Bible verses and watch films in the Roma language. After that, there is a wonderful opportunity to communicate and witness, as the Roma people have many questions, and God is working in their hearts.

Recently, I had a special experience: while returning home, I met a Roma woman with a child about two years old. Approaching her, I gave her several calendars in the Roma language. She took them and began to read, as she was literate. This woman was so impressed that she almost forgot her child when she said goodbye to me. This is a wonderful example of how the Word of God in the language of the heart can influence people and change their lives.

We don’t just address people but give them something they don’t expect to see: the Word of God translated into the Roma language. It is accessible and so close to them, revealing itself to them.”

We are grateful to God for every opportunity to serve the Roma people. We also ask for your prayerful support so that the work continues and there are abundant fruits.
