🧡From May 5 to 10, in the village of Poroshkovo, Zakarpattia region, at the base of the Evangelical Baptist Church, a training course called “Kairos” was held for students of the School of Evangelists. The teachers were Roman Diachuk and Stanislav Cherniayev.
🤍This course explored the importance of preaching the Gospel to other cultures. It examined the biblical, strategic, cultural, and historical aspects of mission and encouraged church members to become involved in missionary work in various ways.
🧡The village of Poroshkovo is unique because it is home to Ukrainians, Vlachs, and Roma. Students had the opportunity to communicate with villagers and preach to them. Their task was also to identify the cultural characteristics of these peoples and analyze the differences.
🤍Eight students completed the course, and it was the last session before their graduation. Each student received a copy of the book “Is the Great Commission Still Great?” as a gift from the NGO “PBU.”
🧡We thank God and everyone who helped in organizing this training.
